Course Overview

In recent years, society has started to demand information from companies, not only about economic data, but also about the possible environmental and social impact of their activities. Thus, more companies are incorporating sustainability strategies into their overall management, and the need to communicate them arises to increase their credibility and the trust of stakeholders and society.

The Sustainability Report becomes one of the most effective tools for communicating what the company has done and how it manages the issues that matter most to its stakeholders, thus demonstrating its commitment and transparency. It is all about credible communication. Credibility is achieved through sustainability reporting, utilizing widely accepted and internationally recognized standards.

Objectives

  • Identification of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); Global Compact; and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria

  • To become familiar with the applicable legislation in Europe

  • To learn how to integrate sustainability reports into the organization's communication with stakeholders

  • To learn the trends, standards, and tools related to preparing sustainability and ESG reports

  • To learn how to do it properly and take leverage of it, beyond the report, in several channels and formats
